The main areas of focus aside from the bombsites is mid and the doored areas around both sites.

Valorant Ascent map has wide mid areas. There are 4 mid areas that you should pay attention to: Mid Link, Mid Bottom, Mid Top, Mid Cubby. Controlling these parts of the map plays an important role as it helps you to catch enemy’s direction and precious information.

Specifically, each site can be fortified by irreversible bomb doors. These doors are impenetrable while closed, but players can damage the doors to eventually destroy them, leaving the doorway permanently open. Although bomb doors can be easily damaged, they can also change the match progress dramatically if you can abuse them well.
