South Asia and Oceania regions have been officially merged into the framework of the VCT Asia Pacific tournament! Along with that are details on how to register and allocate attendance. NEW AREA ADDED
The South Asia and Oceania regions will now compete with teams from Southeast Asia in the Asia Pacific regional tournament, bringing the total number of participating regions to eight. The fact that players in South Asia and Oceania will be consider “internal” in the Asia Pacific region, not foreign players anymore.
The list of participating regions includes Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Asia, Oceania, Singapore/Malaysia and Chinese Taipei/Hong Kong.
VCT ASIA PACIFIC 2022 COMPETITION FORM
The VCT 2022 season is divided into 3 global events, Masters 1, Masters 2 and Champions. At the Asia Pacific regional level, teams will compete in three stages for the chance to try their hand at global events.
- Local Challengers Round : Teams will compete in local tournaments for seed spots in the Regional Playoffs.
- Regional Playoff Round : Teams making it to the Playoff round will compete for Competition Points. Teams that achieve the required number of points will be invited to participate in Global Events.
- Global Events: These international events offer fame, generous bonuses and towering Competition Scores. The winning teams will be invited to compete in the year-end Champions League final.

DISTRIBUTION OF PARTICIPATIONS
The allocation of participation in the region is based on the competition format of 20 teams. The seed slots are determined based on the number of players in each region. Attendance is distributed by region as follows:

HOW TO REGISTER VCT ASIA PACIFIC 2022
Teams in Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore/Malaysia and Chinese Taipei/Hong Kong can register for the Challengers round of VCT Asia Pacific 2022 at this registration platform. In other words teams in South Asia can register on the Nodwin Gaming website , while the Lets Play Live page is for Oceania teams to sign up.
Once registered, players will receive information about the upcoming Open Qualifiers from their local operator.
