Soul-Candles
Soul Candles

Soul Candle is a new item in Torchlight Infinite Season 4, so we will guide you how to collect and upgrade it:

  • Soul Candles can drop with up to three random tier affixes and can be improved by combining with the new Tears of Aeterna money, which drops during the Seasonal Mechanic.
  • When two Soul Candles are fused together, a new one is created. The new Soul Candle is created with affixes from the two originals, and affixes may be rejected at random. When both Candles have the exact same affix at the same tier, they moved up and kept the affix.
  • When Soul Candles are fused with two identical T1 affixes, the affix evolves into a strong T0 affix with a negative modifier. Creating a T0 affix seldom leads in a mutation that produces an affix of extreme potency and extreme significance.

3. Torchlight Infinite season 4: New skills and mechanics

3.1. Spirit Magus Overhaul

Spirit Magus Skills like Summon Flame Spirit, Summon Frost Spirit, and Summon Thunder Spirit have traditionally only been employed for their Aura-like benefits. XD intends to fix this in Season 4 with the new Spirit Magus Overhaul and dedicated Spirit Magus Hero Trait.

3.2 Growth

This revolutionary new mechanism is a Spirit Magi trait that allows them to evolve across time within your map, as if Command never decayed. Certain items, talents, and skills can help your Spirit Magus minions grow.

Spirit Magi now has 5 evolutionary Ranks, beginning with Rank 1 and requiring Growth to progress to the next Ranks. Each succeeding Rank improves your Spirit Magi’s effectiveness in a variety of ways, including raising their stats, allowing them to utilize their Enhanced Skills more frequently, and strengthening their Empower Skills. The last Rank, Rank 5, grants the highest power.

3.3 New active skills

In torchlight Infinite Season 4, there are 4 new active skills: archery bond, speed phantom, nourishment of life, dazzling bloom. We will support you to describe about this feature

  • Speed Phantom: This Mobility Skill eliminates players, allowing them to teleport / rush onward while leaving a Taunting Remnant behind. After a few seconds, relics explode, delivering damage and inflicting Slow. The number of foes hit by the bursting Remnant determines the duration of a bonus to spell damage and cast speed. Mobility and Spell filed this entry.
  • Archery Bond: This Empowering Sentry Skill provides adjacent teammates with increased projectile damage, projectile speed, attack or cast speed, and a decreased projectile quantity penalty. Projectile-centric builds will love using this new Skill to destroy bosses quickly. Tagged with Empower, Sentry, and Projectile.
  • Dazzling Bloom: This Skill was created to compliment the Spirit Magus rework. Casting Dazzling Bloom transports your Spirit Magi to the specified area and causes them to attack the highest rarity opponent nearby first. Tagged with Summon, Spell, and Spirit Magus.
  • Nourishment of Life: This Empower Skill was created to go along with the Spirit Magus revamp. Casting Nourishment of Life enables your character to emanate a sphere that grants Growth to Spirit Magi inside it. Additionally, Spirit Magi at Rank 4 or 5 gain enhanced Area and Projectile Quantity from this Skill. Tagged with Summon, Spell, Empower, Spirit Magus, Area, and Spirit Magus.

3.4 New support skills

  • The passive ability of the Forsaken Iris: Growing Breeze is to store Spirit Magus Skills in Active Skill slots, and utilizing the Skill activates her own Growing Breeze Skill, which has a cooldown.
  • Spirit Magi gain stacks of Nourishment from Growing Breeze, which increases their damage and reduces the damage they absorb. When a Spirit Magus receives Nourishment and no adversaries are around, they greatly improved their movement speed.

4.2 Frostfire Gemma: Flames of Pleasure

  • Purgatory is the Trait Skill of Frostfire Gemma: Flames of Pleasure, which forms a region surrounding the specified spot that can debuff and harm foes.
    Frostfire-Gemma-Flames-of-Pleasure
    Frostfire Gemma Flames of Pleasure
  • Purgatories have a limited number of opponents that may be Branded. Branded foes receive more Fire damage, and a percentage of the Fire damage they take is recorded. When a Branded adversary dies, a new enemy inside Purgatory is Branded.
  • Purgatory activates Death by Fire on a regular basis, removing life from foes in an area in a quantity equal to the amount of damage Brands within the Purgatory have registered. Following that, they cleared the damage recording.
  • At base, Gemma can have up to two active Purgatories at the same time. Purgatories may only brand one adversary at a time at the base.

5. Torchlight Infinite season 4:Crafting & Divinity Slate Improvements

In Season 3, Torchlight Infinite completely overhauled its previous Crafting concept, giving additional complexity and unpredictability to the once-loved concept. Unfortunately, the community’s expectations of power and usability were not fulfilled by the original rewrite.

, and it has been extensively debated since.

XD’s current Crafting System tuning run intends to address the following issues with Season 3’s system:

  1. Crafted Gear is inferior to Legendary Gear in terms of power.
    Prototype-Crafting-Rework
    Prototype Crafting Rework
  2. Viable Item Bases for Crafting are in short supply, and the Plasticity mechanism boosts the need even more.
  3. Targeted Processing’s randomized affix creation complicates things while increasing costs.

5.1 Targeted Processing Rework

Targeted Processing sets Plasticity to 0. This dramatically increases the depth and capability of the Crafting System.
No longer randomize adding affixes to things with Targeted Processing; instead, players may now pick particular affixes to add to their goods.
  • Randomize the tier of the affix, ranging from T6 to T0.

  • Using Targeted Processing to add previously uncommon high-powered affixes to an item has a possibility of failing, resulting in nothing except monetary loss.

5.2 Divinity Slates: Improved Branding

Divinity Slates will be significantly less prevalent in Season 4, since the Cube of Rapacity, like the Blacksail and Darksurge mechanisms before it, will spawn at random.

As a result of this, and in response to various community complaints about Divinity Slates from Season 3, XD intends to improve the Divinity Slate Branding System. They anticipate that these modifications will make Divinity Slate creation more fascinating and surprising, while also making it easier for players to obtain the Talent Nodes they seek.

  • Medium Talent Nodes have a possibility to be upgraded to rarer and more valuable Medium Talent Nodes during Branding.
  • One can upgrade any Talent Node into a New God Talent Node at any time during Branding.

  • When Branding fails, someone turns a random Talent Node from the Divinity Slate into a Talent Node of equal rarity.
  • Players may still return their Divinity Slate to its previous condition after Branding, therefore the above adjustments are entirely good.

6. Torchlight Infinite Season 4: Chaos Invasion Rework & Netherrealm Expansion

6.1 Torchlight Infinite Season 4: Permanent Trait Deck

  • You have now activated all ten Trait Cards in your Trait Deck.
    Permanent-Trait-Deck
    Permanent Trait Deck
  • XD are rebalancing all Trait Cards with this in mind.

  • This modification adds a significant amount of strategy and complexity to the Netherrealm experience.

6.2 Torchlight Infinite Season 4: Chaos Card & Invasion Revamp

  • Chaos Cards must now be advanced in order for their primary effect to be activated. Advancement requires maps to be completed.
  • While advancing or after progression is complete, Chaos Cards provide Maps +100% Additional Drop Quantity.
  • We are revising all Chaos Cards with these modifications in mind.

  • Instead of the typical 5 Maps, Chaos Invasion Rounds now finish after completing a Map with a fully advanced Chaos Card.

6.3 Torchlight Infinite Season 4: Timemarks 7, 8, & Deep Space

One of the most prevalent complaints about Torchlight Infinite’s endgame Netherrealm system is the incredibly uneven scaling, which makes it difficult for unskilled players to sense any significant growth.

With what is basically a significant increase of Netherrealm advancement, XD is finally resolving this long-standing problem.

  • Users may now select new difficulty levels in Timemark 7. Timemark 7-1 and 7-2 are more demanding and rewarding than the original TM 7.
  • The old Spacetime Turbulence mode, also known as Timemark 8, is now Timemark 8 and utilizes the same beacons as Timemark 7.
  • It will also have configurable difficulty levels, increasing the risk and rewards with Timemarks 8-1, 8-2, 8-3, and 8-4.
  • The new Deep Space mode has replaced Spacetime Turbulence as the most risky and rewarding option. The community will refer to it as Time Mark 9.

6.4 Compass Removal

The bulk of compasses are being deleted from the game, with the exception of those pertaining to previous and present Seasonal Mechanics. XD has introduced seven additional difficulty levels between Timemarks 7 and 8+, eliminating the need for compasses.

These Seasonal Mechanic compasses will also be available in Town for a certain quantity of Flame Elementium. The Trade House’s dependency on farming techniques is lessened by this.

7.Torchlight Infinite Season 4 Legendaries: New, Reworked, & Blueprints

7.1 New & Reworked Legendaries

Season 4 offers 13 new pieces of Legendary Equipment while updating a handful of previous items to fit in the more current Torchlight sandbox.

New-Reworked-Legendaries
New -Reworked Legendaries

7.2 Legendary Blueprints

The prevalent community issue has been inaccessibility to build-defining Legendary Equipment. Many of these commodities lacked a specific farming method and were so uncommon that players felt obligated to look for them in the trading house.

The new Legendary Blueprints system, a new means to acquire Legendary Equipment, is XD’s reaction to these issues.

Blueprints are a new sort of item that will be available in Season 4, with each one corresponding to a single piece of Legendary Equipment. Collecting enough of a given Blueprint will allow you to build the Legendary that corresponds to it.

XD intends to launch a Legendary Wishlist Event during Season 4, allowing players to choose a Legendary of their choosing while increasing the drop rates of its blueprint and item.

8.Torchlight Infinite Season 4: Hero Trait Balancing, QoL, & System Improvements

8.1 Training Dummy DPS Cap Reintroduction

XD believes that DPS is not the only relevant measure of a build’s strength, and the community’s obsession with “Dummy DPS” with Season 3’s uncapped Training Dummy has been problematic. The compromise is a new Dummy DPS maximum of 99.9 Billion, significantly higher than Season 2. XD claims that this is more than enough damage to clear the entire game.

8.2  Armor & Evasion Buffs

Damage mitigation from Armor now works against Elemental and Erosion damage, but with decreased efficacy. Evasion’s chance to evade damage now works by default against Spell damage, but with reduced efficacy. These much-needed upgrades will almost certainly put these two defense layers back on the table!

8.3 Carino: Ranger of Glory is no longer bad

The days of forcing folks to reroll because they choose the cool-looking-dude-with-guns are over, since XD promised significant enhancements to his Special Ammo system.

8.4 Value Calculation Changes

XD is modifying affixes to avoid further inflating numbers. This essentially implies that piling heaps of Eve of the Kingslaying to use with Desperate Measure will no more cause limitless damage.

8.5 Tons of Trade House QoL Upgrades

Price Checking, a Global Search, and accidental deletion prevention for items acquired from the Trade House are all new features. In addition, these are just a few of the features that will make transactions on the Trade House simpler than ever before, and there are far too many to mention!

  • Changes to Lethal Flash and Wisdom of the Gods – Spacetime Illusion and Twisted Spacetime are now influenced by Skill Level bonuses. I’m not sure how it works. We’ve also learned that Carino: Lethal Flash and Thea: Wisdom of the Gods will undergo adjustments, which will be revealed in the Patch Notes.
  • Six Gods’ Trials Reward Betterment – The Trials of the Six Gods’ usually terrible randomized awards are being replaced with fixed universal rewards. Hopefully, these are satisfactory.
  • Performance Enhancements – XD has increased the game’s optimization to minimize latency and the chance of crashing even further. They’re focusing on how the game calculates damage, special effects, and treasure drops.
