PLAYOFF ROUND – VCT APAC CHALLENGERS STAGE 1

The first Regional Playoff round of VCT APAC CHALLENGERS 2022 has begun! This Playoff round features the top 20 teams from the region, where they will compete to represent the region at the first global VALORANT of the year, the Masters 1 in Iceland in September. 4.

Don’t miss the exciting events of the tournament, this is expected to be a thrilling competition!

TEAMS CONTRIBUTE BILLION

The following 20 teams have qualified for the Playoff Round after proving their skills through the national qualifiers! The results of each country’s Challengers events will determine the teams that can participate and the starting position of each team.

• Philippines : South Built Esports, NAOS Esports, Action FIT
• Indonesia : BOOM Esports, BOY WITH LOVE, ONIC Esports

• Singapore/Malaysia : Paper Rex, Bleed eSports, NN
• Chinese Taipei/Hong Kong: Oblivion Force Griffin E-Sports
• South Asia: Velocity Gaming, Global Esports
• Oceania: Bonkers

 

COMPETITION & SCHEDULE

The Playoff round of Challenger Stage 1 will be divide into 3 competition stages. In addition to bringing two places to the Masters 1 tournament, this tournament also has a total prize pool of up to 150,000 USD.

 

CT APAC Challengers Stage 1 – Warm-Up Round:

• Date: March 10 – March 13
• Format: 8 teams compete in GSL format, 4 winners will advance to the next round.

VCT APAC Challengers Stage 1 – Group Stage:

• Date: March 16 – March 21
• Format: 16 teams compete in the GSL format, 8 winners will advance to the next round.

VCT APAC Challengers Stage 1 – Knockout:

• Date: March 24 – March 27
• Format: 8 teams will compete in a win-lose bracket format. The final two winning teams will be invited to Iceland for the Masters 1 tournament.
