What is Path of Exile monthly event
The monthly event is open to all players, regardless of level or experience. Players can create new characters for the event, or they can use existing characters. The event is a great way to try out new builds and strategies and earn exclusive rewards.
The specific league mods and challenges for the monthly event vary, but they are typically designed to be more challenging than the regular league. For example, the event may feature increased monster density, increased damage from monsters, or new and unique enemy types.
The monthly event also features a number of exclusive rewards. These rewards can include unique items, character skins, and other cosmetic items. Players can earn these rewards by completing challenges, or by reaching certain milestones in the event.
How to participate in the Path of Exile monthly event:
To participate in the Path of Exile monthly event, you will need to:
- Create a new character in the event league. You can do this by selecting the event league from the dropdown menu when creating a new character.
- Complete the Labyrinth to unlock the Atlas of Worlds. This is required in order to access most of the content in the event league.
- Start exploring the Atlas of Worlds and completing maps. As you complete maps, you will earn challenge points.
- Completing challenges will reward you with exclusive rewards. There are 40 challenges in total, and you can earn up to 40 points per challenge. To complete a challenge, you must meet all of the requirements listed for that challenge.
- You can also earn rewards by reaching certain milestones in the event, such as killing the Shaper or the Elder.
September 2023 Path of Exile monthly event
November 3, 2023: Krangled Passives
All Ascendancy Trees and the Passive Skill Tree are confused. Within those categories, minor passive skills, notables, keystones, minor ascendancy skills, and major ascendancy skills have been internally jumbled (so a notable passive is still a notable passive, but a random one). The trees are the same for all players. In this event, the Scion is not accessible.
You can only view passive or Ascendancy skill characteristics that are next to ones you have assigned.
- Start date: 2 pm November 3rd PDT which is Nov 04, 2023, 4:00 AM (GMT+7)
- End date: 2 pm November 10th PST which is Nov 11, 2023, 5:00 AM (GMT+7)
- Based on: Ancestor League
- Not voided – characters and items will migrate into the Ancestor League afterward. The passive tree will be respecced upon migrating.
- You lose 5x experience upon death.
- Platforms: PC and Console
November 10, 2023: Blast From The Past
Explore the mystical Lake of Kalandra using the might of ancient Sentinels! The Blast from the Past event allows you to revisit these Path of Exile leagues from the past or experience them for the first time if you missed them previously.
Almost every Path of Exile location has both the Sentinel and Kalandra mechanisms active during this event. Check out the Challenge League sections in the patch notes here and here for additional information on how these leagues function.
This event, by the way, is not canceled, so have fun making with Recombinators!

- Not voided – characters and items will migrate into Standard afterward.

November 17, 2023: Shifting Stones
Have you ever longed to be possessed by the Mud Flats’ ten Tormented Spirits? You certainly can in the Shifting Stones event! Each location contains one of the following league mechanics that have been improved by a related Atlas Keystone:
- 10 Tormented Spirits + Speaker of the Dead Keystone
- Blight + Cassia’s Pride Keystone
- Legion + Timeless Conflict Keystone
- Delirium + Unending Nightmare Keystone
- Beyond + Endless Tide Keystone
Every 15 minutes, an area’s mod will change.
- Start date: 2 pm November 17th PST which is Nov 18, 2023 5:00 AM (GMT+7)
- End date: 2 pm November 24th PST which is Nov 25, 2023 5:00 AM (GMT+7)
- Based on: Standard
- Voided – Items and characters do not transfer to parent leagues at the end of the event
- You lose 5x experience upon death.
- Platforms: PC and Console
