It’s hard to say which skill is better than the other in Path Exile. Depending on league content and how people use it, each skill can have their own strength. However, there are some skills that are more suitable for league start. Here are some of them.

Toxic Rain – Best skills for League start

Toxic Rain Poe

As long as you have a bow with some sort of chaos or poison damage scaling, Toxic Rain becomes one of the best Bow skills in the game. Toxic Rain is a bow attack skill where the user fires multiple arrows in the air. The spore pods explode after a delay, releasing toxic ground that deals chaos damage over time and slows enemy movement speed. Increasing the number of projectiles increases the number of pods you produce, thus increasing your damage. Sources of increased area of effect allow the damage over time from each spore to overlap. User testing indicates that increased area does not appear to increase the spore-to-spore distance, therefore this should improve single-target damage. Spore explosions and arrows count as “kill with this weapon” but damage over time component does not.

Toxic Rain can also be scalable from league start to end game build. Thus, players can use it from the beginning and upgrade gradually. You can combine Toxic Rain with mine skill to have the Mine Toxic Rain. The ascendancy used with Toxic Rain is usually Deadeye.

Arc Mine – Best skills for League start

Arc Mine

Saboteur Arc Mine is the legendary build for beginners. Arc received major changes in Patch 3.3, and immediately re-cemented itself as community favorite in all sorts of builds. The Arc Mines Saboteur is inarguably the most dominant of all Arc variants, providing great clear, fantastic boss killing capability, and powerful defenses. Perhaps even more exciting, this build can function on any level of budget and still perform at exceptionally strong levels, and is a great choice for Trade Leagues and Solo-Self Found alike. Saboteurs can deal with any map affixes with ease, and completely ignore some of the game’s most punishing mechanics. Our Arc Mines Saboteur is a premium build that remains a powerhouse league in and league out.

Most mine characters use Arc as their main spell, causing chain lightning to fire out of every mine planted. It is the de facto speedrunning skill with good reason. On the other hands, since you may use many button combo when using this skill, it’s may be not the best build for inexperienced players

Righteous Fire

Righteous Fire

This skill will engulf your character in flames, dealing with a percentage of your maximum life and energy shield per second as fire damage. The benefit is every enemy that is near you will take a significant amount of fire damage per second, further amplified by your life pool and fire damage scaling from the passive tree. If you can obtain a significant amount of liver regeneration and fire resistance, this skill can always be active and deal great damage to bosses and minor enemies alike.

The downside of Righteous Fire builds usually was their severe lack of damage. It’d take those builds quite the while to kill the highest endgame bosses, like Uber Elder and Shaper back in the day. Nowadays, the build does significantly more damage, but monsters have been buffed as well, so this build by no means deletes bosses off the planet. It however is incredibly tanky and has plenty of recovery to be able to stand on top of a boss for long enough for it to die. It tackles all the content in the game safely, so it is a great build to try and learn Hardcore, boss fights, Solo Self-Found, and more.

Kinetic Blast/ Flamewall

KB Flamewall

Kinetic Blast Kinetic Blast has been acknowledged by many of the game’s most seasoned veterans to be one of the best skills in Wraeclast for reaching the absolute maximum experience rates. It is also widely considered to be among the most delightful builds to play. Largely due to the speed, strength, and unique style that a wander presents. If you have tuned in to any of the biggest Path of Exile streamers over the last few leagues, you have doubtless seen them playing a Kinetic Blast build at some point. It’s the kind of building that’s difficult to put down. While Kinetic Blast Kinetic Blast is a fantastic skill for clearing, it lacks the heavy and sustained punch of a proper single-target skill. This build is well-balanced and especially suited for players looking to reach Level 100 efficiently, and is equally suitable for Softcore, Hardcore, and Solo Self-Found Leagues.

Freezing Pulse Totem

Freezing Pulse Totem

As Freezing Pulse totems is not what it used to be, this build remains a solid pick to league start with. Freezing Pulse Totem can easily complete all of the content in the game, outside of maybe the new crazy things they are adding. It has gained some huge QoL in the earlier stages of the game because of the accessibility of Reduced Effect of Curses on you & has gained some extra late game juice when it comes to the shift towards Viridi’s Veil Viridi’s Veil. It packs around 7 million DPS in the endgame, purely on Freezing Pulse Totems & can easily swap into Ice Spear for extra Single Target when it matters. With this swap you’ll get north of 15 million boss DPS out of your totems which is incredible.

Freezing Pulse totems were looked at as more of a meme-build, which was only done with tremendous amounts of currency to make it look decent. Nowadays, however, it has gained a lot of popularity because it excels at getting stuff done easily, cheaply, and early!

Conclusion

Although there are more than a hundred skills in the game, the above are the 5 best skills for league start. You can also buy PoE currency cheap here, safe, legal, and fast transactions. Take these currencies and join the Path of Exile Delirium immediately.
