Ashava The Pestilent is a global monster in Diablo 4, a very strong beast that needs more than a few people to defeat. Diablo 4 global bosses exist over the open globe of Sanctuary, rewarding those who beat them promptly with massive awards.
Ashava the Pestilent is a World Boss in Diablo 4. These larger-than-life giants cannot be challenged alone, necessitating parties of adventurers to stand together in groups of up to 12 (or 3 groups of 4). They come exclusively on particular dates in specific spots across Sanctuary, and slaying them will give you genuinely legendary riches.

World Bosses spawn every 6-8 hours; thus, you can take on up to 4 World Bosses daily.

A World Boss can spawn in one of five places across Sanctuary, which are as follows:
- Fields of Desecration in Hawezar
- Saraan Caldera in Dry Steppes
- Seared Basin in Kehjistan
- Caen Adar in Scosglen
- The Crucible in Fractured Peaks
The most straightforward approach to predict when a World Boss will come is to complete Diablo 4’s primary campaign (which we highly recommend you do before taking on them).
Rolling credits on the main plot will activate the timer, such that roughly 30 minutes before a World Boss event, a symbol will show on the Sanctuary map, indicating where a World Boss will spawn and which one.
When the World Boss spawns, only 12 people can appear in the same instance of that zone, regardless of whether they are in groups or not – however, having a group is strongly advised.
How to Beat Ashava World Boss
You’ll need two items to stand a chance against Ashava the Pestilent. You’ll need a reasonably solid character build and a large group of teammates.
The large number of allies is an issue that should be resolved. Because Ashava is a World Boss and everyone will be alerted to her presence, you will most likely not be alone when you confront her. To have a good chance of beating her, you should have up to 12 players.
In terms of combat, Ashava is tough and hits hard. You’ll have to stay alert to escape her strikes, which tend to span broad, sweeping regions. You should be OK if you keep your distance from her and avoid red circles.
Bring some poison resistance with you because several of her strikes do poison damage. That being stated, you must maintain continuous damage on her as you are on the clock and wear her down before she vanishes.
Rewards for Beating Ashava
If you successfully take down this lethal World Boss, you will receive a large amount of treasure as a reward for your efforts, including Scattered Prisms. These uncommon crafting resources may be used to add sockets to your weapons at Jewelers.
Gold and XP will be scaled to your level, while other drops will be determined by the World Tier you are playing. This World Boss will, however, drop Legendary and Unique goods and a Grand Cache as part of the Weekly Bonus Spoils for the first time you defeat it each week.
