2.2.1 Weapons

Spear

There’s a reason why the spear has earned the name ‘King of the Battlefield’; it really shines in both attack range and the agility of its strikes.

The spear is one of the easiest weapons to use in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. Good damage, amazingly fast speed, and long classification give the character a great advantage in hand-to-hand confrontations or chasing opponent

Long sword

A melee weapon with an extensive history. Comparably portable and favored by the nobility, it’s a swift weapon that was often referred to as ‘the military gent’.

Another accessible option. Sword is a combination of attack speed and medium damage ability. Its standard attacks are pretty impressive, but its focused attacks are where it really shines. Horizontal or vertical focal hits create a long-range shockwave that can catch the target’s guard or disrupt a run. One caveat is that the shock wave from the sword can be intercepted and reflected by the opponent.

Naraka Rank

Katana

This style of sword first arrived in the Helioth Kingdom from Eternia, after which its design was improved, and crystallized over many centuries. Gradually, it became what is known as the katana today in Helios.

Katana is another option for those who like to use swords. Compared to long swords, Katana has a lower attack range but has more speed and damage. The high speed makes Katana extremely suitable for quick raids. However, in a face-to-face battle, you must be really skilled to defeat the opponent with this weapon.

Great Sword

This weapon excels in both offense and defense. The fierce power exerted by brandishing such a sword and its domineering presence has made it a favorite of many

The Great Sword is possibly the most damaging weapon on this list. However, it has a major drawback in terms of speed. Its attacks are slow and predictable. Therefore, players with high dodging ability or high-speed movement will not have much trouble staying safe when confronting the long sword.

great sword

Bow

A ranged weapon with a lengthy presence upon history’s battlefields. In fact, many in Eternia are surnamed ‘Fletcher’ due to the booming trade their ancestors dealt in.

Like the longsword, the bow has so far proven to be an accessible early choice for long-range combat. Arrows may fly a little slower than most games you’ve tried, but they’re still effective enough to deal massive damage from a distance. This gives you an advantage before you have to go into close combat with the enemy. The bow is extremely suitable for the class of characters with the ability to stealth and hide.

Bow

Cunning serpent

Able to rain down a veritable storm of bolts upon the enemy, legend has it this was first invented by the ancestors of Eternia.

Forget pistols and muskets, the crossbow is Naraka’s powerful long-range weapon. In fact, it resembles an extremely fast-beam machine gun. It will take some time and space to charge the arrow first, but after everything is prepared, the crossbow will show its incredible power.

Pistol

The Hidden craftsmen drew inspiration from the mortals and their artillery, and so created what is known simply like this: the Pistol. Unlike normal pistols, however, it’s capable of simultaneous fire from its five chambers.

Pistols are underrated in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. You will have to spend a long time reloading, but the effect is not as expected. Short-range also makes pistols not clearly show superiority with long-range weapons.

Cannon

Thanks in no small part to the Eternia military’s heavy investment into weapons development, handheld cannons have now made their way into the battlefield: portable, yet with incredible firepower.

Cannon possesses terrible damage with a wide range of effects. However, its disadvantage is that it takes a long time to reload, and the rate of fire is slow. With single targets with high movement speed, it is almost impossible for cannons to hurt them.

Musket

The Lunazran craftsmen improved upon

the firearm designs from Eternia, lengthening the barrel and lowering its caliber somewhat.

These alterations resulted in a rifle greatly enhanced in both range and accuracy.

Forget everything you know about guns in other games before trying to shoot muskets in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. Bullets move extremely slowly. If you want to choose a long-range weapon, you should get a bow or a crossbow.musket
